CRAFT
Gathering is the first step to crafting. With gathering, you acquire materials needed for whichever crafting profession you choose. There are three types of gathering: mining, harvesting, and fishing. You have to actively gather materials to level up your gathering skill and allow you to gather higher quality materials.
Mining/Harvesting does not require any tool and you may simply mine/harvest by clicking on an ore or herb that you find on the map.
Fishing however, requires a fishing rod, which can be purchased from gathering merchants or some general merchants.
- 1. Go to a body of water with a fishing rod equipped and click on the school of fish you see in the water.
- 2. A window will pop up with a gauge. The gauge will begin to charge. When it is almost full, click on the round Fish icon on the right to catch the fish.
- 3. Keep in mind, fish are not always what you get from fishing! There’s a very slight chance that you may obtain very rare items!
